Photography: Alcohol

In spring 2015, ten TAP youth advocates produced countermarketing photographs on alcohol. Big Alcohol spends billions of dollar on advertising and promotional expenses in the United States every year. Big Alcohol (distilled spirits, beer, wine) keep their customers addicted and often hook youth early into lifelong customers, especially through the promotion and sale of drinks like alcopops (flavored alcoholic beverages). Students learned about alcohol, marketing, and photography and crafted anti-alcohol photographs to dissuade youth in the community from using such products. Please see the 17 photographs below:
